ClinicalRM President/CEO Named National Small Business Person of the Year

May 21, 2012, Washington, DC - Clinical Research Management (ClinicalRM), a full-service Contract Research Organization (CRO) providing comprehensive biomedical research services, announced today that its President and CEO, Victoria Tifft, was named the 2012 National Small Business Person of the Year by the US Small Business Administration during SBA’s celebration of National Small Business Week in Washington, DC.
“The innovation, inspiration, and determination shown by Victoria Tifft have elevated her company, Clinical Research Management, above and beyond the norm,” said Karen Mills, SBA Administrator who presented the National award. “These qualities are what make small businesses such a powerful force for job creation in the American economy and in their local communities. Ms. Tifft was selected from among the state winners in 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and Guam. Nominees for this award are judged on seven criteria: staying power; growth in number of employees; increase in sales and/or unit volume; strong current and past financial reports; innovativeness of product or service offered; response to adversity; and contributions by nominee to aid community-oriented projects.
