CRM Partners with ITT Corporation to Win a Part of the RDECOM Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosives (CBRNE) Mission Support Contract (CMSC)

CRM has partnered with ITT Corporation (ITT) to win a part of the multiple-contract solicitation, “RDECOM CBRNE Mission Support Contract (CMSC) with the Edgewood Chemical, Biological Center.  CMSC is a five-year IDIQ contract valued at $485,000,000 and is shared with nine other companies.

The Edgewood Chemical Biological Center’s Science and Technology expertise has protected the United States from the threat of chemical weapons since 1917. Since that time, the Center has expanded the mission to include biological materials and is today the nation’s premier authority on chemical and biological defense.
The Edgewood Center and associated facilities provides the full spectrum of basic research, engineering, and analysis of Warfighter systems from concept to capabilities.   This solicitation required a broad requirement for services involving engineering, program and integration support, and research and technology support.  ITT approached CRM last summer to partner with them in our areas of expertise, especially in biomedical research and molecular biology.  ITT found especially impressive our research into antimicrobials and genomics, along with our defined abilities in microbiology and our work with biothreat organisms.  CRM’s experience is especially strong in these areas because of what our fantastic employees do every day at USAMRIID and WRAIR, as well as our Clinical Solutions Division's involvement with NIAID.
CRM is looking forward to partnering with ITT in this endeavor.
