CRM History

 

Clinical Research ManagementVictoria Tifft, the President, CEO and Founder of Clinical Research Management, Inc. (CRM) served our country in the U.S. Peace Corps in Togo, West Africa in the field of infectious disease control. She contracted malaria three times and returned to the U.S. with the commitment to spend her life working towards the goal of providing treatments for infectious Malaria, Shigella, HIV, E. Coli, Ebola, Anthrax and infectious diseases.

Clinical Trials CenterVictoria played an integral role in the creation of the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research (WRAIR) Clinical Trials Center in 1992 and has worked alongside many military and Government researchers throughout the U.S. Army Medical Research and Materiel Command (USAMRMC). Because of her unique understanding of the Government's research culture and mission objectives, CRM has been recognized continually for the successful management of FDA-regulated clinical research programs.

Contract Research OrganizationTo further her goal of supporting clinical research activities sponsored by the Government, Academia, Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical Industries, Victoria founded Clinical Research Management, Inc. in 1992. CRM is a woman-owned, full service Contract Research Organization (CRO) specializing in the support of clinical research and product development for regulated biologic, drug and device products. 

 

Recognition
Victoria Tifft, President and CEO of CRM was selected as the winner of the “Emerging Company” Award at the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2008 Northeast Ohio Awards Ceremony (Ms. Tifft was one of 30 finalists from 26 Northeast Ohio companies that were honored in June 2008 at the Cleveland Playhouse in Cleveland, Ohio).

The Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award is the largest and most prestigious gathering of entrepreneurs in America.
