Benefits Overview

Hiring and retaining top talent is of vital importance to the success of our company.  A key component of our human resource strategy is to keep employees satisfied by providing a total compensation package that meets or exceed those of peer companies. We also understand that pay and benefits play an important factor in making career decisions and take special care to analyze the market for comparison of pay and benefits to ClinicalRM’s.

BENEFIT

DESCRIPTION

Vacation Leave

Up to 120 hours (three weeks) of paid vacation leave per year is accrued on a per pay period basis; the accrual increases after five and ten years of employment. A maximum of 168 hours may be accrued.  Employees may carry forward unused vacation leave each calendar year and unused vacation leave is paid out upon termination.

Sick Leave

Up to 48 hours (six days) of paid sick leave per year is accrued on a per pay period basis.  A maximum of 100 hours may be accrued. Employees may carry forward unused sick leave each calendar year and unused sick leave is not paid out upon termination.

Holiday Leave

Up to eight hours of paid leave for each holiday observed by the Federal Government (currently ten).  Employees required to work on a holiday may “float” their paid holiday leave to another day in the same calendar year.

Bereavement
Leave

Up to three days of bereavement leave will be granted to employees scheduled to work the day(s) immediately following the death of an immediate family member in order to arrange and/or attend the funeral.  For the purposes of this policy, an immediate family shall include:  spouse, child, mother, father, mother-in-law, father-in-law, brother, sister, or other blood relatives who live in the same household with the employee.

One day of bereavement leave will be granted to employees scheduled to work the day he/she would otherwise be attending the funeral services of the following:  brother-in-law, sister-in-law, and grandparent.

Jury Duty
Leave

Up to three days of paid leave will be granted to employees scheduled to work the day(s) he/she is called to jury duty service. 

Tuition
Assistance

Up to $3,000/year for undergraduate courses and $4,500/year for graduate courses that are pre-approved and directly related to the employee’s work for ClinicalRM.   Employees must fulfill one year of continuous service and will be required to work a minimum of two years following the tuition reimbursement.

Professional
Development
Assistance

Up to $500 per year in Professional Development Assistance for seminars, conferences, certifications, licensure and/or memberships that are relevant to their current job.

Relocation
Assistance

ClinicalRM offers relocation assistance to eligible employees in accordance to applicable rules and regulations. 

401(k) Retirement
Plan

ClinicalRM offers both a Traditional and Roth 401(k) program.  Employees may enter the plan and begin contributing on one of three dates:  date of hire, April 1st or October 1st.  Employees are eligible for the employer match at the first open season (April 1st or October 1st) following one year of employment.  The current matching formula is 50 cents for each one dollar of deferral, up to 10% of pay.  To receive the maximum 5% match from the company, an employee must defer 10% of his/her pay.

Financial Planning

Employees participating in ClinicalRM’s 401(k) program have the opportunity to receive Financial Life Planning and Asset Management investment advice at no cost through Paradigm Equity Strategies.

Health
Insurance

ClinicalRM offers comprehensive health insurance to the employee and their eligible dependents.  Employees may choose an HMO or PPO plan. Coverage is effective the first of the month following date of hire.  If your date of hire is the first of the month, your effective date will be that day.  An employee’s spouse who is eligible to enroll in his/her employer-sponsored group health plan or retirement health plan is not eligible for coverage.  

Dental Insurance

Voluntary (employee paid) dental insurance is available to the employee and their eligible dependents.  Participants may choose from a Base (low option) or a Buy-Up (high option) Dental Plan. Coverage is effective the first of the month following date of hire.  If your date of hire is the first of the month, your effective date will be that day.

Vision Discounts

Employees can enjoy discounted vision services and materials through their dental insurance plan. Starts simultaneously with the dental insurance.

Flexible Spending
Accounts

ClinicalRM offers Health Care, Dependent Care and Transportation Flexible Spending Accounts. Maximum health care expenses reimbursed during the plan equal $2,550.  The dependent care expenses reimbursed during the plan year equal $5,000 ($2,500 for married individuals filing a separate tax return).   The transportation expenses (parking & public) cannot exceed the IRS maximum amount for that plan year. Deductions are made on a pre-tax basis and start the first of the month following date of hire.  If your date of hire is the first of the month, your effective date will be that day.

Life & Accidental Death/ Dismemberment

ClinicalRM provides Term Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance to employees at no cost in the amount of two times the employee’s base compensation up to a maximum of $300,000. Coverage is effective the first of the month following date of hire.

Supplemental Life Insurance

Voluntary (employee paid) Supplemental Life Insurance is available for the employee, their spouse, and children.  Corporate rates are available and based on the amount of insurance elected. Coverage is effective the first of the month following date of hire.

Short Term Disability

Voluntary (employee paid) Short-Term Disability Insurance is available to provide employees with short-term income protection if they become disabled from a covered accident, sickness, or pregnancy.  Employee contribution is based on their salary and is deducted post-tax.  Short-Term Disability benefits commence on day one of disability caused by an accident, or day eight of total disability due to a covered sickness and provides the employee with 66-2/3% of their base compensation up to a maximum of $1,000/week. 

Long Term Disability

ClinicalRM offers Long-Term Disability (LTD) Insurance to employees at no cost.  LTD provides loss of income protection if the employee becomes disabled from a covered accidental bodily injury, sickness or pregnancy.  Long-Term Disability commences after three consecutive months of any one period of covered disability and provides the employee with 66-2/3% of their base compensation up to a maximum of $8,000/month.

Resources & Training

ClinicalRM offers multiple in-house resources and training opportunities either in person, via the web, the phone, or through our Corporate Library.  The headquarters staff are available to assist employees with questions relating to scientific/clinical solutions, benefits, travel, contracting, recruiting, professional development, and much more.

Employee Assistance Program

Through the Life & Disability provider, ClinicalRM is able to offer an Employee Assistance Program that provides employees with valuable work-life balance resources and Travel Assistance.  This includes on-line resources and telephonic/face-to-face counseling.

Employee Referral Program (ERP)

Active employees and consultants of ClinicalRM are eligible to receive up to $5,000 (depending on the posted position) Employee Referral Bonus for referring qualified candidates who are successfully hired as ClinicalRM employees.

Bonus Programs

ClinicalRM offers various incentive programs to reward and recognize employees for their contributions to the success of ClinicalRM.  Nominated employees are eligible to receive gift cards, gift baskets, and/or cash incentives.

Leave Donation Program

Employees may donate their accrued unused vacation time to an employee who has had to exhaust all of his/her vacation and sick leave time due to a personal crisis and/or an emergency situation.

Volunteerism Program

ClinicalRM encourages and supports our employees to become involved in their communities and lend their voluntary support to established programs or institutions that are relevant to the mission and values of ClinicalRM and that positively impact the quality of life within these communities or to the betterment of others.  We recognize volunteers on a quarterly and annual basis with gift baskets, certificates and a donation made to the charity of their choice.

Years of Service
Program

The Years of Service program recognizes the longevity of our employees when they reach the milestone years of 5, 10, 15 and eventually 20+ years of service.  This program is one way to say thank you to our employees for remaining dedicated and loyal to us and for their continued part in our success.  ClinicalRM hosts an annual celebration luncheon in our major locations to thank those employees celebrating a milestone anniversary for their contributions.

ClinicalRM Intranet & Newsletter

ClinicalRM realizes that ongoing communication with employees is of utmost importance and vital to the ongoing success of our company.  We offer secured internal websites for employees to access important policies, procedures and forms. In addition, a monthly newsletter is distributed via email that contains numerous topics and relevant information.

On-Site Visits & Meetings

We feel that it is important to communicate personally with our employees.  ClinicalRM’s headquarters’ team members visit the worksites to have open discussions about scientific/clinical solutions and other topics, as well as allow employees the opportunity to ask questions and receive updates on company initiatives.
